Hey there, I'm Lottic, and ive been playing wow for about a year and a half now, I was a Gladiator rogue in TBC and i left Retail WoW for private servers when WotLK came out.
Anyways, I think rogues are pretty simple when it just comes to down to 2 things rogues NEED to focus on,
1- Control.
2- Damage.
but before we get into specs and such, Ill start out with gear, Youll want a decent amount of resilience, but Rogues have many different defensive cooldowns such as CoS (Cloak of Shadows) And Evasion.
I'd say anywhere between 850-950 resil is the amount im comfortable with. but It is your character. Try to get it as high as possible without it effecting your damage, you wont need survivability if you can kill your enenmy within 15-20 seconds!
GEMS- Meta Slot - Reletless Eathsiege Diamond
Gives you some extra Agility and a nice Crit Damage increased by 3% Buff.
Get a Nightmare Tear for the blue socket in your legs to get the required gems for the meta to be active.
Then the Rest are all Bright Cardinal Rubys.
You'll also want to be hit capped, and not have to gem hit rating.
So I recommend, a Titanium Weapon Chain on your Off hand weapon,
Icewalker enchantment for +10 Hit and +15 Crit
And Get Wrathful Gladiator's Pendant of Victory
& Wrathful Gladiator's Cloak of Victory, Along with those, also get a Heroic Band of the Bone Colosus Ring for a bit more hit rating. If you're over 5% Hit rating, You're good!
Talents and Glyphs- 43/2/25 basic Envenom PvP Spec, most basic and reliable for all situations.

But before you use that spec, theres one talent i do not particularly like and it's called initiative in the Sublety tree. I use Serrated Blades instead for the Arp and bleed damage, BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN I WANT YOU TO STACK ARP PLEASE DO NOT STACK ARP.

Basic Rotation
1. Sap the Target
2. After waiting for full 130 Energy use Cheap Shot.
3. Mutilate
4. Shiv (To apply deadly poison.)
5. Kidney shot
6. Mutilate
7. Shiv until you have 4-5 Stacks of deadly poison and 5 combo points
8. then envenom!
(PLEASE NOTE) This is only a basic rotation, it may not work against all classes and specs so please dont say it doesn't work. It does.
Enchants- other than the ones i already provided.
Cloak Major Agility or Haste for faster Weapon swings.
Gloves Crusher.
Legs Icescale Leg Armor
Head Arcanum of Triumph
Main Hand Weapon Berserking
Bracers greater assault (+50 Ap)
Belt Eternal Belt Buckle
Chest Powerful Stats (+10 to All Stats)
Poisons
Wound Poison on Main hand for healing reduction
Deadly on Offhand for envenom and constant damage.
Weapons
This is an important part.
DO NOT USE TWO SLOW (1.80) Speed DAGGERS FOR THIS SPEC,
Use the Wrathful Gladiator's Spike in the Main hand, and the Wrathful Gladiator's Dirk in the Off Hand (1.40 Speed), for more stacks of deadly poison.
And Get a thrown weapon for Deadly Throw to keep enemies running away from you.
